Coronavirus Update: With 433 new cases, Punjab's COVID-19 tally rises to 1,33,158
Coronavirus Update: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1,33,158 after 433 new COVID-19 cases were reported from the state on Friday.
According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department, giving coronavirus update, the death toll due to COVID-19 mounted to 4,187 after 19 new deaths were reported from the state.

Amritsar reported 1 new death while Barnala reported 2, Bathinda 2, Fatehgarh Sahib 1, Ferozepur 2, Gurdaspur 1, Hoshiarpur 1, Kapurthala 1, Ludhiana 2, SBS Nagar 2, Pathankot 1, Patiala 2, and Ropar 1.
Among the new coronavirus cases in Punjab, Ludhiana reported 65, Jalandhar 65, Patiala 28, SAS Nagar 49, Amritsar 36, Gurdaspur 11, Bathinda 29, Hoshiarpur 27, Ferozepur 10 and Pathankot 16.

Likewise, Sangrur reported 4 new cases, Kapurthala 8, Faridkot 17, Muktsar 20, Fazilka 24, Moga 6, Ropar 6, Fatehgarh Sahib 3, Barnala 2, Tarn Taran 2, SBS Nagar 3 and Mansa 2.
The total number of COVID019 recoveries in the state has increased to 1,24,870 after 577 new recoveries were reported from the state.
Ludhiana reported 52 new recoveries, Jalandhar 86, Patiala 20, SAS Nagar 21, Amritsar 31, Gurdaspur 5, Bathinda 67, Hoshiarpur 31, and Ferozepur 25.
Similarly, Pathankot reported 25 new discharges, Sangrur 13, Kapurthala 7, Faridkot 76, Muktsar 20, Fazilka 19, Ropar 4, Fatehgarh Sahib 33, Barnala 19, Tarn Taran 5, SBS Nagar 2, and Mansa 16.
The total number of active cases in Punjab stands at 4101.
