In This Together: With the entire India struggling amid the second wave of coronavirus in India, a huge number of people came forward to help those struggling in finding hospital beds, medicines, and other resources. Likewise, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma also raised funds to help the country as Covid relief. Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, on May 7, started a fundraising campaign 'In This Together' to raise money for Covid relief efforts. Virushka pitched in with Rs 2 crore themselves to get the ball rolling. The target was initially set as INR 7 crore but later it was revised to INR 11 crore as the initial target was achieved in the next few days. Virat Kohli, on Friday, took to Twitter to announce that the target of INR 11 crore has also been completed. "Words fall short to express how overwhelmed we feel to have exceeded our target not once, but twice, thanks to each one of you. To everyone who has donated, shared, & helped in any way, I want to say a big thank you. We are #InThisTogether & we will overcome this together," Virat Kohli tweeted. In This Together: Amid 2nd wave of coronavirus in India, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma raised funds to help country in this hour of need. "Truly amazed and humbled by the spirit of solidarity that you all have shown. We are proud to announce that we have raised more than our initial target and it will go a long way to save lives.
