Coronavirus: With 623 new cases, Delhi positivity rate 0.88 percent

Coronavirus Delhi Updates: The daily new cases of coronavirus in Delhi have maintained the downward trend as the national capital on Tuesday recorded only 623 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. Giving coronavirus updates, the Health Department stated that Delhi reported 623 new cases of coronavirus (positivity rate 0.88 percent), 62 deaths, and 1423 COVID-19 recoveries in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday appealed to the Centre to cancel Class 12 board exams and evaluate students on basis of past performance. Even as the Delhi government permitted the home delivery of Indian and Foreign liquor through an app or website. The move is aimed to avoid crowding in the national capital. Delhi was once the worst-affected city in the nation. However, the lockdown imposed in Delhi helped to contain the spread of COVID-19. On the other hand, the Union Health Ministry stated that the recovered cases were more than daily cases now, with recoveries increasing to 92 percent now.
