This Country Has Send The Highest Number Of Immigrants To The US, China is at 2nd Place According to the latest data released by the US Census Board, 14 percent of the total population in the US as immigrants. The total number of immigrants in the US is the highest in a century. And guess what, which country has sent the highest number of immigrants to the US between 2010-2017… Drums roll… INDIA… Yes, you read it right. India has sent the highest number of immigrants i.e. 8.5 lakh between 2010-2017 The American Community survey conducted a survey and concluded the data which showed that the foreign-born population of the USA rose by eight lakh in 2016, making the total foreign-born population at a whopping 4.45 crore. According to the reports, “As recently as 1980, just one of 16 US residents was foreign-born." The increase in percentage is 47% for India, 31 percent for China and 32 percent for the Dominican Republic. Nepal has sent 1.52 lakh Nepalese to the US. The number of Pakistanis is about 4 lakh. Pakistan has witnessed an increase of 31 percent.
