COVID-19: With 90 new deaths, Punjab's death toll crosses 2,500-mark
Punjab Coronavirus Update: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 84,482 after 2,481 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state on Tuesday.
According to the Punjab Health Department, the death toll in the state 2,514 after 90 new deaths were reported from the state.

Among the new deaths, Ludhiana reported 19 new deaths, Jalandhar reported 12, Amritsar 10, Gurdaspur 8, Kapurthala 8, Hoshiarpur 6, Ferozepur 5, Fatehgarh Sahib 4, Patiala 4, Muktsar 3, SBS Nagar 2, Pathankot 2, Ropar 2, Barnala 1, Bathinda 1, Faridkot 1, Sangrur 1, and Tarn Taran 1.
A total of 1,815 COVID patients were declared cured and discharged taking the total number of coronavirus recoveries in the state to 60,814.

Of new recoveries, Ludhiana reported 252, Patiala reported 194, Amritsar 132, SAS Nagar 358, Gurdaspur 140, Bathinda 99, Hoshiarpur 97, Sangrur 34, Pathankot 73, Kapurthala 83, Faridkot 13, Muktsar 34, Barnala 34, Fazilka 46, Fatehgarh Sahib 20, Ropar 56, Tarn Taran 55, Mansa 71, and SBS Nagar 24.
Among the new cases in Punjab, Ludhiana reported 409, Jalandhar 261, Patiala 204, Amritsar 214, SAS Nagar 188, Gurdaspur 197, Bathinda 120, Hoshiarpur 154, Sangrur 67, Ferozepur 1, Pathankot 189, Kapurthala 84, Faridkot 62, Moga 33, Muktsar 81, Barnala 11, Fazilka 43, Fatehgarh Sahib 43, Ropar 7, Tarn Taran 37, Mansa 28 and SBS Nagar 48.
