Cremation of Goa Chief Minister today with full state honours
The cremation of Goa Chief Minister, Manohar Parrikar, who passed away on Sunday will take place with full state honours today evening. According to the official statement, the funeral procession will be taken out from Kala Academy at around 4 pm. The last rite will be performed at five in the evening.

The mortal remains of Manohar Parikar will be kept at the BJP head office in Panjim. It would be later moved to Kala Academy for the public to pay their last respects.
Goa state will be observing seven-day mourning to grieve the loss. The Centre had already announced national mourning on March 18.

Manohar Parikar passed away at the age of 63. He was battling a pancreatic ailment since last year. He breathed his last at his residence on Sunday evening. According to media reports, he had been to the hospital since February. He had undergone treatment for his pancreatic ailment in the United States and in Delhi.
