Chandigarh University student wins bronze at Seocheon International Taekwondo Championship

Chandigarh University student won bronze at Seocheon International Taekwondo Championship Chandigarh University Student, Ankur Singh Saini, a 2nd year BA student won bronze medal for India at Seocheon International Taekwondo Championship in South Korea. Overall, Indian team won a total of 2 silver and 2 bronze medals during the International Taekwondo Championship in various categories. Nearly 35 teams participated from all around the world which concluded in Seocheon city of South Korea. And Ankur Saini won bronze for India in the 58 kg Senior Flyweight category of the tournament. Ankur Saini told the sources, “Indian players Rehan & Manoj won silver medals in the 48 kg Flyweight and +60 kg categories while Shreya won the other bronze medal in the 48 kg girls flyweight category of the tournament.” Ankur beat Shing-Liu (7-5) of South Korea during the league match and he knocked out Oein-Feng-Shu from Japan (5-3) in his pre-quarter final match.
