Noted Sikh preacher and Bargari morcha’s key protester Baljit Singh Daduwal bank transactions have come under the radar of Income tax (IT) and Enforcement Directorate (ED). Both of the agencies have started an investigation in the matter.

In the past six years, around Rs 10 crores have been transacted into Daduwal’s account through various sources.

The transactions amounting to Rs 10.70 crore were recorded in his accounts with the money received through Western Union and Money Gram also while rest of the money came through cheques and other sources. The Income-tax (I-T) has slapped a notice to Baljit Daduwal in october last month.

The probe has also found cash flow in Daduwal’s account has increased since 2015, when he started leading the protest in Bargari against Guru Granth Sahib sacrilege issue.

It is also learned that Daduwal has also bought three luxury vehicles from three motor agencies in Bathinda.
