On Friday, Maxwell played ferocious innings of 25-ball 43 including 4 sixes against Adelaide Strikers. He mesmerised the fans with innovative shots and got compared with Mr. 360 AB de Villiers. AB De Villers is named Mr. 360 for his phenomenal batting all over the ground and for playing unique shots against almost any bowler.

Meanwhile, Steyn compared Maxwell with AB De Villers. “When it comes to T20, you very rarely get guys that strike it as cleanly as he does. He’s very smart, too, the way he goes about it. You talk about guys like AB de Villiers being a 360 (degree) player but ‘Maxi’ is up there, too,” Steyn was quoted as saying by Cricket.com.au.

He also added that “It’s just a nickname that AB earned because he plays like that, but had AB not been around you could’ve easily nicknamed someone like Maxi ‘Mr 360’ because he’s got that ability of taking you down in areas you don’t want the ball to go.”
Recently, Glenn Maxwell was one of the most expensive buys at the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction and was bought by Kings XI Punjab for a whopping amount of Rs 10.75 crore.
