Daljit Singh Cheema felicitates Asian shooting championship medallists
Chandigarh: Former minister Dr Daljit Singh Cheema on Friday felicitated Asian Shooting championship medallists Jasmine Saini and Khushi Saini of Ropar.
The former minister visited the residences of both Jasmine who won a gold medal in the 14th Asian Shooting Championship at Doha and Khushi who won the Bronze medal at the same event. Both girls live in Ropar.
Interacting with family members at the residences of both medallists, Dr Cheema said the girls had done Ropar proud. He said their achievement was special in more ways than one considering they had braved all odds to achieve this feat.
He lauded them for achieving this goal while studying at the Government Senior Secondary School, Jhallian Kalan. -PTC News
