Death toll in Pakistan, where a fire broke out on the Karachi-Rawalpindi Tezgam express train, has reached 65. The incident took place in Pakistan's Liaqatpur near Rahim Yar Khan when a gas canister being used to cook breakfast exploded. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1189778912357666816 Sources said many passengers were killed because they jumped off the moving train to escape the flames. Three carriages of the train were gutted. Pakistan railway minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said, "Two cooking stoves exploded. The cooking oil in them added fuel to the fire. Most of the deaths occurred as people jumped off the train." Eleven people were killed in an accident in September. In 2005, about 130 people were killed when a train rammed into another at a station in Sindh province.
