Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, chief of armed forces paid tribute to Kargil Martyrs
Defence minister Manohar Parrikar on paid tribute to the Kargil war martyrs by laying a wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti. Army chief General Dalbir Singh, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha and Navy chief Admiral R K Dhowan were also present on the occasion. Army chief General Dalbir Singh on Saturday also paid tributes to the brave soldiers at the Drass war memorial in Kargil district on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas.
