Delhi CM asks Health Secretary to share analysis of factors behind COVID-19 deaths
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday directed the Delhi Health Secretary to share a detailed analysis of factors behind all COVID-19 deaths in the national capital in the last two weeks. He said that the objective is to take measures to further reduce deaths due to coronavirus in the national capital.
The Delhi government has also directed the government and private COVID hospitals to get feedback from patients and if they are willing to donate blood plasma at the time of discharge.
Likewise, the medical superintendents of all government and private COVID hospitals have been asked for the same in this regard. Reportedly, the feedback form will be comprised of questions about cleanliness, food, doctors' services blood group and underlying conditions.
Recently, the Delhi Chief Minister had inaugurated India's first plasma bank' at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in the capital in an order to access to plasma.

Meanwhile, the Union Health Ministry stated that "To strengthen Central Govt’s efforts to reduce COVID mortality, AIIMS-Delhi has started teleconsultation guidance to State doctors on COVID clinical management, twice a week- on Tuesdays and Fridays. 10 hospitals with more than 1000 beds to participate in 1st session."
