In a shocking incident, a major fire broke out in a compartment of the Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express in Uttarakhand near the Kansro area on Saturday. According to the Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar, the fire broke out in compartment number C-4 of Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express due to a short circuit.

Ashok Kumar said that the incident took place near Kansro area while all passengers were safely evacuated and no injuries have been reported so far. Meanwhile, the fire was brought under control. All 35 passengers of coach were shifted to other coaches while no casualty was reported, a Railway official said.
