Delhi: Fashion designer, servant killed by tailor employed by her

A Delhi Fashion designer and a domestic worker were found murdered on Wednesday night in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi.

Fashion designer, Maya Lakhani (53) and her servant Bahadur (50) were found murdered at 3 am on Thursday. Lakhani ran a boutique in Green Park and lived in a plush mansion with high walls and gates.

Lakhani’s tailor confessed the crime. The reason behind the murder was that Lakhani hadn’t paid the tailor’s dues. He killed his boss with the help of two of his friends. When she cried out for help, Bahadur came to help her. The tailor and his two accomplices also killed him. They both were stabbed to death.

The police has arrested the accused. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. the families of the duo have been informed.
