Delhi gas leakage: 5 admitted to hospital after toxic gas leakage in RK Puram

Delhi gas leakage: As many as five people have been admitted to the hospitals after complaining of itching in their eyes due to exposure to alleged toxic gas at the Ekta Vihar area in Delhi's RK Puram. According to the police, fire tenders and two ambulances along with Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) team have reached the spot but the source of toxic gas leakage could not be traced out yet. "No fire in any gas cylinder and no fumes emerging out from any place in the Ekta Vihar area," the police stated. Fire breaks out at garment factory in Delhi's Geeta Colony, one dead

A 40-year-old man lost his life in a fire that broke out at a garment factory in Delhi's Geeta Colony area. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Sanju, whose charred body was found on the first floor of the three-storey building. The fire department was informed about the blaze in the Geeta colony area at around 3 am on Thursday, the police said. "Five fire tenders were rushed to the site," it added.
