Delhi: Handcrafted soap distributed at Bandhu Camp

Delhi: At a time when the world is reeling from the Covid-19 pandemic, Inventivepreneur Chamber of Commerce and Industries with Rotary Club has come to the rescue of the homeless and the destitute, who cannot afford to buy soaps at Rehabilitation Camp as it distributed handcrafted soaps. Those soaps were handcrafted by the deprived women of west Delhi empowered by Stiers organisation. Both the organisations have distributed Soap Bars among 600 people of the Bandhu Camp in Vasant Kunj, Delhi. Rishabh Malhotra, Vice President of Inventivepreneur Chamber of Commerce and Industries said that "During such difficult time of Covid-19 pandemic we all must come forward to promote Hygiene Nationwide, as there are many of our Society who lack basic Sanitation facilities." He also added that "Our chamber has targeted to impact around one lac citizens by the end of this year." Delhi is, currently, 22,570 active cases while 3,04,561 have been cured and discharged. educareMeanwhile, the death toll in the state has increased to 6,040 after 31 new deaths were reported from the national capital. -PTC News
