Delhi hit-and-run: 28-yr-old driver of Mercedes car held
The Delhi police crime branch has arrested the driver of the Mercedes hit and run case on Tuesday that claimed the life a 35-year-old man. The accused Nukul (28), a resident of Raj Nagar, Palm Colony, allegedly ran over and killed a fruit vendor and injured another man on Sunday near Dwarka. The police has seized the vehicle involved in the accident.
According to the media reports, a Mercedes emblem was found at the crime spot. It helped the police to narrow it down to just 4,000 cars. The police acquired the details of cars from the Road Transport Authority. It collected the details of the vehicle involved in the accident. There were no CCTV cameras around the accident spot. The accident claimed the life of 35-year-old Sarvesh and injured 30-year-old Inder. They were returning home after work. The Dwarka police station got a call about the accident around 11:50 pm. They both were rushed to the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, where Sarvesh was declared brought dead whereas, Inder sustained serious injuries. -PTC NEWS
