Delhi Man killed his friend to “Marry” his wife, arrested
Delhi Police booked a man named Gulkesh, who is the murderer of his friend Dalbir (30). The culprit Gulkesh on Monday night called his friend Dalbir and asked him to meet near Zakhira railway track where he hit Dalbir with brick on his head that made him unconscious. Gulkesh was aware of the fact that Dalbir’s wife Seema was out of town for attending a marriage.
Later Gulkesh took unconscious Dalbir and laid him on railway track so that he could be cut into pieces by the next coming train and murder attempted by him could be presented as a rail accident or suicide. After everything went according to his plan, accused himself called the police and reported that he found the body of his friend was lying on the railway track near Prem Nagar Phatak, Rama Road. Gulkesh was successful in misleading cops until his call records were traced.

During interrogation accused broke down and out of fear confessed that he conspired Dalbir’s murder as he had an illicit relationship with his friend’s wife but she was not ready to marry him. Therefore he murdered Dalbir to convince her for marriage. Delhi police are still investigating Dalbir’s wife role in the conspiracy.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Police recently shared a graph after Delhi Chief Minister took jibe over the increasing crime rate in the national capital. The graph shows that there is a decrease in the murders and a fall in the crime rate.
