In a major development, two people, who raised the Khalistan flag on eve of Independence Day at District Collector office in Moga, have been arrested from Delhi. They have been identified as Inderjeet Gill and Jaspal Singh. As per the report, the duo has also joined the banned channel, Sikhs For Justice, the Delhi Police informed. The two of them were arrested on Saturday. They are wanted in a sedition case registered under the section of law 121/121A/124A/153A/153B of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and section 2 of The Prevention of Insult to National Honor Act 1971, at PS City Moga, Punjab. Reportedly, the police had received information that two members of the Khalistan group would be coming to Delhi to commit some anti-national activities. Likewise, a trap was laid near Shani Mandir GT Karnal road. At around 6:30 pm, 2 persons, one of them wearing turban were noticed standing near the Shani mandir bus stand. The team of police started approaching them to verify but they started moving towards the service road coming from the Singhu border. The team members after a small chase overpowered and interrogated them on which their identity was revealed as Inderjeet Singh and Jaspal Singh. They were arrested from GTK road, Delhi. During the interrogation, it has been revealed that Inderjeet Singh is a Class 10 dropout who worked as a driver in Rauli. Two riminals involved in murder and robbery cases arrested On August 9, Inderjit had received a WhatsApp link where he cast his vote for Khalistan where one person namely Rana from the US and one other person was telling Sikh youths to build Khalistan, waving Khalistan flag and tearing the Indian flag on August 14, 15 and 16. Likewise, a reward of 1,25,000 dollars was announced for doing the same on the Red Fort and other historical buildings. -PTC News
