Delhi records 89 new COVID-19 cases, this year's lowest daily count
Coronavirus Delhi Updates: Delhi on Monday recorded 89 new cases of COVID-19, the lowest single-day figure this year as the positivity rate has dipped to 0.17 percent. According to the coronavirus updates, Delhi reported 89 new cases, 11 deaths in the last 24 hours. With fresh cases and fatalities, the cumulative number of cases in the city has increased to 14,32,381 while the death toll has reached 24,925, according to data shared by the state health department. The active caseload in the national capital has declined to 1,996 while the total number of recoveries has increased to 14,05,460. As many as 173 people are recovering from the disease in a day. The recovery rate in the city is at 98.12 percent. As many as 57,128 samples were tested in Delhi over the past 24 hours, taking the total number of samples tested as of now to 2,08,31,799.
