The Haryana government has compiled a list of bank accounts opened in the name of the Dera Sacha Sauda and its affiliated bodies. The list has been put forth after the Punjab and Haryana High Court issued an order to both the Haryana and Punjab governments to evaluate the Dera’s total assets. The authorities have assessed the worth of jailed Dera Sacha Sauda chief’s Sirsa empire, including cash in banks and movable and immovable property, at Rs 2,000 crore “Details have been prepared on the orders of the Punjab and Haryana High Court and a report submitted through the Court Commissioner,” said Sirsa Deputy Commissioner Prabhjot Singh. The list includes 504 accounts – including 473 savings and term deposits accounts and the remaining loan accounts. A total of Rs 74.96 crore are held in savings and term deposits accounts.
  1. Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has 12 accounts which have Rs 7.72 crore in them.
  2. Six accounts in Honeypreet Insan's name. Over Rs 1 crore have been deposited in those accounts. publive-image
  3. Ram Rahim’s film production unit Hakikat Entertainment has 20 accounts and maximum bank balance of around Rs 50 crore.
  4. Dera Sacha Sauda owns over 900 acres of prime land on the Sirsa–Nathusari Chopta–Bhadra road, stretching from Begu village at one end up to Nejia village on the other. publive-image

The sect has several prime properties — a five-star hotel, a cinema hall, a multi-specialty hospital, eight educational institutions, a shopping mall, a cricket stadium, palatial houses and 30 units making biscuits, candies, mineral water, pickles, juices, cosmetics, seeds, pesticides and fertilisers.
