'Dhol Ratti’ a Punjabi film is all ready to be released soon : ‘Dhol Ratti’ a Punjabi film is all ready to be released soon under the banner of Canam Movie Production and is produced by Mike Verma. Till now, two posters of the film have been released. Recently,the second poster had been released in the press club, Chandigarh.
The story of the film ‘Dhol Ratti’ narrates the period 70’s. The film summarizes a call of emergency on Indo-Pak Border. The movie is based on value system and family-ties portraying the story of old Punjab.
Actor in leading role is Lakha Lakhwinder Singh a known theatre artist, who apart from a number of Punjabi movies has also worked in a Hindi drama movie- ‘31ST October’ with Soha Ali Khan. "The film will present content which will be such that the entire family can enjoy it together. There is no vulgarity in the movie." said Lakha Lakhwinder Singh.
Punjabi and Bollywood film actress Pooja Thakur is playing a lead role in this Punjabi movie. She has already done great performance in Bollywood films as well. Her upcoming films will be in different regional languages as well as Bollywood industry.
Pooja Thakur also emphasized “It was a great experience shooting this Punjabi film. I am happy that a realistic setting has been created in all scenes of Punjab in the 70's. Music is the popular 'beats' styled and comedy is displayed in a good proposition in the movie."
The music producers of the film are Tanuj Jaitely and Ravi Pawar. Whereas, Mika Singh, Nachhatar Gill, Surjit Bhullar, Ashu Punjabi, Sudesh Kumari, Rani Randeep,Neetu Bhalla and Babbar have done the playback singing.
