Dilli Chalo agitation: Punjab farmers to stay overnight at toll plaza in Panipat
After a long journey of challenges and obstacles, protesting farmers from in and across Punjab will stay overnight at the toll plaza in Panipat to cover the remaining journey to Delhi tomorrow.
Farmers will plan their next strategy during their overnight stay at the toll plaza in Panipat. Earlier, it was decided that the farmers will stay at Gharaunda but the farmers have started marching towards Panipat.

Farmer leaders Balbir Singh Rajewal and Harmeet Qadian confirmed that the farmers will stay overnight to plan the further move for the 'Dilli Chalo' agitation. The leaders of five farmers' organisation will hold a meeting at the toll plaza in Panipat to discuss the further strategy for Dilli Chalo agitation.

The farmers started their journey from Punjab where Haryana police made all the efforts to stop the farmers but failed. Police barricades, water cannons, heavy stones, and tear gas shells among others were deployed to halt the farmers.
However, the stock of farmers was able to overcome all of these.
