Gangster Dilpreet Sent To 7-Day Police Remand A local court here on Friday granted police remand for 7 days to gangster Dilpreet Singh. Court also ordered that AK-47 should also be recovered from him and also ordered cross-examination. The gangster was nabbed after a dramatic chase that saw him open fire at the police forcing retaliatory fire. Baba was fleeing when the police party lead by Incharge, Crime branch, UT  Amanjot Singh dashed their SUV into his vehicle bringing it to a halt. In the police firing, Dilpreet suffered gunshots and was rushed to PGI After a brief encounter, the injured gangster was admitted to PGI Hospital, Chandigarh. This was a joint operation by Jalandhar Rural Punjab Police and Anti-Gangster special unit Mohali and Chandigarh Police. Famous Punjabi singer and music director Parmish Verma and his friend were shot at by around five unidentified car-borne assailants in Mohali by gangster Dilpreet. Earlier, in a Facebook post, he had claimed an attack on the Punjabi singer. Punjab gangster Dilpreet Singh ‘Baba’ Dhahan threatened to kill Punjabi singer Parmish Verma in another Facebook post two days after he claimed an attack on the singer. “I Dilpreet Singh Dhahan want to inform you all that I opened fire at Parmish. See how you were trying to hide, but today you were caught,” the post read. Dilpreet was an accused in the murder case of a sarpanch in Chandigarh last year. The police had earlier arrested gangster Bhupinder Singh an aid of Gangster Dilpreet. -PTC NEWS
