DMK president M Karunanidhi’s medical condition further declines: Doctors The medical condition of DMK president M Karunanidhi furthur declines and keeping the functionality of the vital organs is a big challenge for the doctors right now. According to the doctors of Kauvery Hospital the next 24 hours are very crucial. The Tamil Nadu chief minister is being continously monitered and treated with advanced and active medical support. According to the press release issued by the Hospital, "There has been a decline in the medical condition of DMK president and former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. Maintaining his vital organ functions continues to remain a challenge considering his age related ailments. His response to the medical interventions over the next 24 hours will determine the prognosis." The news of decline in health of Karunanidhi spread like a fire, following which hundered of his supporters gathered outside the hospital. Karunanidhi was admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital on July 28 following a dip in blood pressure, which stabilised following medical intervention.
