Doctors Day 2020: India salutes the exceptional caregivers
India celebrates doctors day today! While the nation was hit by coronavirus pandemic, the doctors worked tirelessly in the fight against the COVID-19. It would not be wrong to call them warriors as its because of them that the people feel safe in a time of war like this.
On the occasion of Doctors Day 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a video lauding doctors and health workers. He said that mother gives you birth and sometimes doctors make us born again. PM Modi captioned: "India salutes our doctors- exceptional caregivers who are at the forefront of a spirited fight against COVID-19."
Meanwhile, the President of India Ram Nath Kovind said in a tweet: "Best wishes to all doctors on Doctors Day. We express our gratitude to the doctors for their selfless service in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. The nation admires and salutes your professionalism and sacrifice in the service of fellow citizens."

Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal also took to Twitter and wrote: "On this doctor's day, I salute all the doctors for their immense strength and dedication towards humanity. Wishing you all a very Happy Doctors' Day!"
Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal tweeted: "On this doctor's day, let us thank all the doctors for working tirelessly in these tough times of pandemic. They are staying away from their own families to save and bring happiness to other families. Thank you, Doctors, for always being there for us. Happy Doctors' Day!"
