Uttar Pradesh: Stray dog enters operation theater, mauls newborn to death
Agra: A newborn baby was mauled by a stray dog to death at a hospital in Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday. According to the information, the dog allegedly dragged the newborn baby inside the operation theatre of a private hospital. The father of the baby has been identified as Ravi Kumar.
As per report, the incident took place at around 8:30 am on Monday. The newborn child was delivered at the Akash Ganga Hospital. On Monday, Ravi Kumar took his wife Kanchan to hospital after she experienced labour pain. The hospital staff informed Kumar that his wife would be having a normal delivery. However, Kumar was told that his wife would have to go for cesarean procedure, after an examination.
Kanchan was taken to the operation theatre for the delivery. Her husband Ravi Kumar was told that his wife had given birth to a baby boy. The staff asked him to wait and told him that his wife had been shifted to a ward while his child was in the operation theatre. AFter few minutes, the staff came out of the operation theatre (OT) and shouted that a dog had entered the OT.

Meanwhile, Kumar panicked and ran to the Operation theatre and found his newborn baby lying in a pool of blood. As per report, the child was having a bite marks on his chest and left eye. Kumar also said that when he confronted the staff about the incident, they requested him to not to tell anyone and even offered to pay money.
