During the event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump hugged each other after the Prime Minister concluded his address at the Namastey Trump event, at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, Donald Trump at an event in Ahmedabad stated that "America loves India, America respects India and America will always be faithful and a loyal friend to the Indian people."
