US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were given a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhawan on Tuesday. President Ram Nath Kovind, his wife Savita Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi received Donald Trump and the First Lady. Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Indian Ambassador to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu, and the three service chiefs were also present at Rashtrapati Bhawan. Later, Trump visited Rajghat to pay tributes to Mahatma Gandhi. Now, the two leaders will be having a wider discussion on various issues. Donald Trump, along with First Lady Melania Trump, daughter Ivanka Trump, and other dignitaries arrived in India. Trump addressed the huge gathering in an event Namastey Trump at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad before visiting the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders, in Agra in the evening. US First Lady Melania Trump will be visiting a Delhi Government school in Nanakpura, on Tuesday only.
