Driver sets the bus carrying 51 children on fire A driver hijacked a bus carrying 51 children and sets it on fire near Milan in Italy on Wednesday. The children were rescued after police smashed windows at the back of the bus. According to media sources, more than 15 children have suffered smoke inhalation. Two classes of teenagers along with two guides were going to a gym from school. The bus driver took a different route on a provincial highway. It appears to be heading towards Milan's Linate airport. The events unfolded in the next 40 minutes. The driver began addressing the passengers with a knife. One of the students contacted his parents who alerted the police. The suspect sprinkled some petrol around the bus. But policemen were able to break the windows and rescued the passengers.  The suspect was a 47-year-old Italian citizen originally from Senegal. He has been arrested. The driver alleged that no one will survive. Milan police told the media that it is exploring all possible aspects of the terrorist act also. - PTC NEWS-
