DSGMC strongly opposes selection of Kamal Nath as CM of Madhya Pradesh   The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) General Secretary and National Spokesman of the Shiromani Akali Dal Manjinder Singh Sirsa has strongly opposed selection of Mr. Kamal Nath, an accused in 1984 sikh genocide case, for the post of the Chief Minister in Madhya Pradesh by the AICC President Mr. Rahul  Gandhi and has warned that in case the Congress goes ahead with the proposal, Sikhs will protests against the party on a very large scale.   Addressing a press conference here today, Mr. Sirsa said that Mr. Kamal Nath in a accused in 1984 sikh genocide cases and he had incited the mobs to kill Sikhs in front of Gurudwara Rakabganj Sahib. He said that Mr. Kamal Nath himself agreed before two commissions which were set up to investigate the tragedy, among these Commissions one of them was J. Ranganath Misra Commission which was set up in 1985 and J. Nanawati Commission that on 01.11.1984, he was very much present in the premises of Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib when two Sikh persons were burnt alive and killed. He said that he is very much involved in the incident of 1984 anti Sikh Genocide. He said that  the then Indian Express reporter, Sanjay Suri had  seen Kamal Nath physically and obviously leading a mob, commanding them to kill Sikhs. He further said that Kamal Nath had come down from Teen Murti Bhavan, the crowd too had come from there, as the Kusum Lata Mittal report into policing failures categorically stated this.  He said that the DSGMC had also written to Home Minister  for getting FIR registered against Mr. Kamal Nath. He said that this application was written on 1.8.2016 and later a reminder was also sent on the issue.

He said that  Jawahar Lal Nehru had started this by arresting sikh leader Tara Singh, then came Indira Gandhi who attacked Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Sri Darbar Sahib. Her son Rajiv Gandhi took it further by deputing his party leaders to kill innocent Sikhs, then justified these killing and rewarded these culprits with plum posts in party and government. He said that now Rahul Gandhi is toeing line of his family and is awarding killers like Kamal Nath. Also Read: 48 trains cancelled , 20 delayed due to dense fog Questioning the silence of Punjab Congress leaders who had opposed appointment of Kamal Nath as Incharge of Punjab affairs just before the  Punjab elections, Mr. Sirsa said that why they were not opposing Kamal Nath now, people of Punjab want an answer.   Mr. Sirsa said that it is now clear to the people that whenever the Congress party specially the Gandhi family gets power, it resorts to saving the skin of those whom it had deputed to kill Sikhs in National Capital and other parts of the country. He said that now Mr. Kamal Nath is being awarded with the  post of Chief Minister  for his role in ensuring killing of Sikhs in November 1984. He said that the Sikhs in general and the DSGMC in particular will not tolerate this decision, if taken, by the Congress party and will oppose it tooth and nail. He said that  apart from taking out protests march on large scale, it will also explore all legal angles to stop Mr. Kamal Nath from being sworn in as Chief Minister. - PTC News-
