Earthquake of magnitude 6.5 rocks Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula An earthquake of magnitude 6.5 rocked Russia Kamchatka Peninsula on Thursday. Tremors were felt in entire Russia’s Kamchatka Region. The strongest earthquake tremor of magnitude 6 was felt in Ust- Kamchatka. The area has a population of around 4,000 people. Residents of Ust-Kamchatsk felt the tremors at 6 magnitude.
