The Education Department, Punjab, has promoted 668 JBT/ETT teachers to the Master Cadre.
Disclosing this here today, DPI (Secondary Education) Mr. Paramjit Singh said that this is a significant step forward towards the upliftment of educational standards throughout the State in keeping fully with the vision envisaged by the Chief Minister, Punjab, Captain Amarinder Singh.
The Education Minister Mrs. Aruna Chaudhary has congratulated all the promote teachers and exhorted them to work with full dedication so as to nurture the future of the nation i.e. the students.
DPI Mr. Paramjit Singh further elaborated that out of the promote teachers 547 belong to Science, 49 belong to Mathematics, 64 belong to DPE while 5 hail from Agriculture and 3 from Sanskrit respectively. He also said that promotion orders have been issued to all 668 promotees.
Divulging more, he said that all have been instructed to join till 3rd November with their concerned DEOs and after that the stations would be allotted in accordance with merit.
