Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Monday shared greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr. As per the report, Eid-ul-Fitr is a religious holiday celebrated by the Muslims worldwide that marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. Sukhbir Singh Badal took to Twitter and wrote: "May this Eid-ul-Fitr brings you immense joy, happiness, peace and prosperity in your and your loved one's life. Eid Mubarak!" Likewise, Harsimrat Kaur Badal said in a tweet: "May this auspicious day brings the brightest colours of love, laughter & happiness in your life. He said in a tweet: "Eid Mubarak! Greetings on Eid-ul-Fitr. May this special occasion further the spirit of compassion, brotherhood and harmony. May everyone be healthy and prosperous." Similarly, President of India Ram Nath Kovind said in a tweet: "Eid Mubarak! This festival is an expression of love, fraternity, peace & harmony. Eid reaffirms our belief in sharing with & caring for the vulnerable & needy. Let us carry the spirit of giving (Zakaat) on this Eid and follow social distancing norms to contain coronavirus spread."
