Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Durrani arrested on theft charges
Mumbai, February 7: Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Durrani was arrested on Tuesday after the actor accused him of stealing her money and jewellery.
Earlier in the day, actor and 'Bigg Boss' contestant Rakhi Sawant filed an FIR against her husband Adil Durrani alleging he has taken money and jewellery from her.
Talking to the media outside Mumbai's Oshiwara police station, Rakhi Sawant claimed, "He came to beat me at home in the morning, I immediately called the police. He frequently visits my home and gives threats. Even today (Tuesday), he came to beat me at home, and I was scared. He said that you defamed me in the media."
The police filed an FIR under Sections 406 and 420 of the IPC against Adil Durrani and later arrested him.
