Etah gang rape case: 16-year-old Dalit girl gang-raped in public toilet
Etah gang rape case: In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old Dalit girl, an Etah rape victim, was allegedly raped in a public toilet in Etah, Uttar Pradesh, by three people from her village.
The Etah gang rape case took place on Monday, while the FIR was registered two days later, on Wednesday.

According to the family of the Etah rape victim, the FIR was registered against 3 people after they managed to approach district magistrate Sukhlal Bharti.
The Dalit girl’s mother said in her statement, on the Etah rape case, that the teenager had gone to a public toilet to accompany her 6-year-old brother when she was raped.

Meanwhile, an FIR has been former village head Rajiv (50), and his two acquaintances Akash (18) and Anil Kumar (22).
A case has been registered against the three men under IPC Section 376D, 342, 323, 504, 506, and SC/ST Act.
According to the Circle Officer (Aliganj) Ajay Kumar, the girl was sent for medical examination. He said that the police will add sections of the POCSO Act to the FIR once the girl's age is determined as it has not found any valid documents that mention her age.
