Fake Encounter Case: Accused Police official Narinder Malhi, Gian Singh convicted by CBI court
Two more Punjab cops have been convicted on the charges of kidnapping and killing one Sikh young man Harjit Singh @Gora in 1992. Mohali CBI courted convicted former DSP Punjab Police Narinder Singh Malhi and SI Gian Singh for this crime. The court ordered the fine of Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand out of which Rs 1 lakh would be given to the father of the victim. Mr Malhi had already been convicted in 'Jebkatri' case. The victim belonged to Sultanwind of Amritsar.
