Fall in minimum temperature by 1-3 degree Celsius very likely during next 3 days: IMD
IMD Weather report: Giving a weather forecast for Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and other states, the Indian Meteorological Department on Tuesday predicted cold wave conditions for the next two days.
IMD, while giving a weather report, stated that cold wave conditions at isolated pockets very likely over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday with coldwave to severe cold wave conditions at isolated pockets over the same region on December 23 and 24.

"We're expecting dense fog in the morning at isolated places in Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, it stated giving weather forecast for Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh.
"We expect dry weather conditions in the North West region and plains. Cold wave conditions would continue at isolated places in East UP," said Anand Sharma, Additional DG, India Meteorological Department (IMD).

He also said that "The minimum temperature in Delhi-NCR would be in the range of 4-5 degrees Celcius and maximum would be around 21-22 degrees Celsius."
"We're expecting moderate fog in the morning and dry weather conditions in Delhi-NCR," Anand Sharma stated.
Meanwhile, Indian Meteorological Department said that "Fall in minimum temperature by 1-3 degree Celsius over some parts of plains of northwest India and central India is very likely during the next 3 days."
