Faridabad DCP Vikram Kapoor has allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with the service revolver, on Tuesday. According to the sources, the IPS officer has shot himself with the service revolver at his residence in Faridabad, Haryana. The news agency ANI reported, “Faridabad Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Vikram Kapoor, allegedly committed suicide at his Government residence by shooting himself with his service rifle early morning today. Police Investigation underway.”

The police rushed to the spot and started further investigation. Also, the police are trying to find out the reason behind the Vikram Kapoor’s action. As per reports, the 58-year-old Vikram Kapoor hailed from Kurukshetra district and was given the promotion as an IPS officer last year.
Also, Vikram Kapoor was about to retire from the service on October 31, 2020. Meanwhile, further investigation is underway, and hence more details are awaited.
