Faridkot: 24-year-old youth dies of drug overdose
An 24-year-old youth died of alleged drug overdose at Faridkot on Thursday.The deceased has been identified as Gurpreet Singh of Faridkot district.
Gurpreet was found unconscious in his room on Thursday. He was taken to a civil hospital in Faridkot where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
According to his father, Sukhdev Singh ,he had been taking drugs for several years.
The police said a preliminary investigation revealed that it was a case of drug overdose death. The post-mortem examination of the deceased will be performed on Friday morning.
