Farm Laws 2020: Punjab farmers accept Centre's invitation for talks
Punjab farmers have accepted the Centre's invitation for a meeting to discuss farm laws 2020. The farmers have been staging protests across the state demanding the withdrawal of anti-farmer laws.
The farmers' protest will continue, the Punjab farmers announced even as they said that they will move to Delhi if their demands will not be met tomorrow.
The development after a meeting of farmers' organisations. Amid farmers protest, the Central government had invited farmers’ organisation for a meeting over farm laws 2020.

The Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar, and Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal invited Punjab farmers for a meeting on November 13.

The meeting is scheduled to be held on November 13 at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi.
The 'anti-farmer laws' 2020 — the Farmers” Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020 — were enacted recently after President Ram Nath Kovind gave consent to them.
