Farmer's buffaloes worth Rs 4 lakh looted in UP

A farmer’s buffaloes worth Rs 4 lakh were looted on Friday night in Gangeru village in Shamli’s district in Uttar Pradesh. Six armed men allegedly looted buffaloes after holding the farmer and his wife as the hostages.

The victim farmer has been identified as Gaffar Ahmed. According to media sources, he was sleeping near bovines when the six armed men came in a vehicle. They held the farmer and his wife as the hostages and took the buffaloes.

The police has started a probe in this matter. It has assured the victims to nab the accused soon.
