Farmers' role is same as that of culprits, says Vijay Sampla on Singhu border incident

Farmers' protest: National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) Chairman Vijay Sampla on Saturday condemned the Singhu border incident in which a corpse was found hanging with hands and legs chopped at the spot where farmers have been protesting against farm laws for over 10 months. Vijay Sampla on Saturday met several organizations of the Dalit community. "We've already sent a notice to DGP Haryana, Chief secretary to take strict action on it and also asked for a return report via fax," Sampla said. Whatever incident occurs there they (Farmer) are only responsible for it." "Their role is the same as that of culprits," Vijay Sampla added. Meanwhile, the accused Nihang Saravjit Singh, who was detained on Friday night, has been sent to seven days of police custody by a court in connection with the Singhu border incident. On Friday, Lakhbir Singh's body was found hanging with hands, legs chopped at the spot where farmers' protest is underway in Kundli, Sonipat. -PTC News
