Farmers to march towards Punjab and Haryana Raj Bhawans today
As announced by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), the farmers have has put everything in place to hold a protest at the Raj Bhavans of Punjab and Haryana in Chandigarh on Saturday. Thousands of farmers from Haryana are set to enter Chandigarh from the Panchkula side, while those from Punjab will come from the Mohali side. The Punjab farmers have gathered at Gurdwara Amb Sahib in Mohali, while those from Haryana have gathered at Gurdwara Nada Sahib in Panchkula. The SKM leader Yogendra Yadav had said the farmers would hold a protest march from Gurdwara Nada Sahib to the Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh. He had also said that the farmers' protest march would be peaceful and that they will submit a memorandum to the President of India through the Governor.
