Farmers to observe martyrdom day of Sahibzadas at Singhu and Tikri
Amid farmers protest against farm laws 2020, the farmer leader from Punjab, Kulwant Singh Sandhu, addressed a press conference at the Singhu border on Tuesday. "In today's meeting, it was decided what decision will be taken on the proposal sent by the Centre," he said.
Kulwant Singh Sandhu announced that "Farmers will take a call on accepting Govt's invite for a fresh round of talks on Wednesday (tomorrow).
He also announced that the farmers would observe martyrdom day of Sahibzaadas on December 23, 26 and 27 at Tikri Border and Singhu Border.

Meanwhile, toll plazas in Haryana will remain closed from December 25 to 27 in an order to built up the pressure on the Central government.

Also, the farmers would issue warning letters to BJP leaders. Likewise, demonstrations will be held in front of the embassies of all the countries including England and America, he said.
Kulwant Singh Sandhu, at Singhu border, said that "the UK PM Boris Johnson is scheduled to visit India on January 26. We are writing to British MPs asking them to stop the UK PM from visiting India till the time farmers' demands are not met by the Indian government."
The farmers' protest has been intensified following the Centre's refused to repeal the three farm laws 2020 i.e. the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
