Coming from behind twice Japan held Senegal to a 2-2 draw to keep Asian hopes alive in the FIFA World Cup 2018 on Sunday. With this draw, the position in group H has been thrown open as both Japan and Senegal with a win and a drawn game each have four points each. Columbia and Poland are other teams in the group. Both have lost their opening games of the group. A win would have assured either Senegal or Japan a place in the knock out stage. But the game off fluctuating fortunes saw Senegal taking lead and then squandering it away to end the day by splitting points. Nineteen-year-old Mousa Wague, playing his first World Cup, scored a gem of goal as he came charging in to slam the ball with a powerful right footer in the 71st minute. Japan, who brought in Keisuke Honda late in the second half, was rewarded with equaliser in the 78th minute when Honda scored.-
