Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday addressed the media persons in Delhi. She said that "In line with announcement made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Independence Day 2019 speech, to make infrastructure investment worth Rs. 100 lakh crore for the next five years, a task force was formed to identify projects." She added that "Today, the task force has identified Rs 102 lakh crore worth of projects, after conducting 70 stakeholder consultations in a short period of four months." Meanwhile, Nirmala Sitharaman also said: "National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) Coordination Mechanism to be launched, comprising the Centre, states and private sector, for detailed planning, information dissemination and monitoring implementation of the NIP framework." https://www.ptcnews.tv/pan-aadhaar-linking-deadline-extended-by-3-months/ Furthermore, she announced that 'An annual global investors meet will be organised in the second half of 2020." Recently on Tuesday, the Ministry of Finance announed the extention of the deadline for linking of PAN-Aadhaar card. Also, the Finance Ministry was quoted by ANI as saying, "All companies with turnover of Rs 50 crores or more mandated by Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance to provide facility of payment through RuPay Debit Card and UPI QR code to their customers." -PTC News-
