Spectacular arrangements have been made by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) for celebrations of the First Parkash Purab of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji on August 31. Sri Harmandir Sahib and gurdwaras inside the Darbar Sahib complex have been beautifully decorated with flowers. The floral decoration started on August 28 and ends on August 30. A total of 300 artisans from New Delhi, Kolkata, Uttar Pradesh and other areas engaged for the decoration are working day and night with devotees.publive-image

publive-imagepublive-imageThey are decorating Sri Harmandir Sahib, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Gurdwara Shahid Gurbakhsh Singh, Gurdwara Baba Deep Singh Ji, Shaheed Bunga, Jhanda Bunga, Darshani Deodi, Parikarma, all four entrance gates, and Gurdwara Manjhi Sahib Diwan Hall. Eighty varieties of flowers from across the country, Bangkok, Indonesia, Holland, and New Zealand have been procured for the floral decoration, which is being done by Delhi-based devotee and businessman, KK Sharma.publive-image
