First Saudi Woman Delivers Evening News Bulletin A Saudi Arabian Female journalist has created history. She became the first female to anchor a national news bulletin in Saudi Arabia. It is the first time ever a woman is presenting evening news on Saudi Arabia’s state channel. Saudi Arabia female journalist Weam-Al-Dakheel has made history by co-presenting Al-Saudiya’s 9:30 Pm bulletin alongside Anchor Omar-Al-Nashwan. She has previously worked with CNBC Arabia as a reporter and Bahrain-based Al-Arab News Channel as a presenter. It is a State TV Channel which is recently re-launched to ‘highlight movements’ in Saudi Arabia. Everyone is calling her, “Confident, Focused and Beautiful.” According to the Saudi Crown Prince’s Vision 2030 plan, he wants more women to join the workforce.
